Inside CyberBob - Friends
In life, everyone needs friends. Sometimes they may not be the best of friends, as they may stab you in the back when you are not looking. Some friends can be the best friends ever, who will drop everything when you need some help. But friends are generally those people who you like to hang around, spend time with, and talk to...and that is what ranks the people that CyberBob has included in his list of real life friends.
- Pamla - Of course, Pamla is more than a friend to CyberBob. Pamla is more than a mere girlfriend, to CyberBob. Pamla is the woman that CyberBob will be spending the rest of his life with, and it is only fitting that she is listed right at the top of this list.
- Joel - Joel is a good friend of CyberBob's from university. There were many a time that Joel and CyberBob would do things together, and have a big laugh. One of the things that CyberBob misses from his time at university, is some of the fun times that he had with Joel, including one memorable afternoon in 1998, listening to a rugby league game, on the radio, in the car.
- Kylie - Kylie was one of CyberBob's good friends from university. CyberBob first met Kylie halfway through 1997, and remained a friend until he did a few stupid things in 1998 and early 1999, to ruin the friendship. CyberBob greatly regrets what happened between him and Kylie, and if he ever got the chance to talk to Kylie ever again, there is one thing he would like to say to Kylie, and that is he is deeply sorry for all the pain and suffering he ever put Kylie through, and hopes that one day she may forgive him. (And if anyone who knows CyberBob can get this message to Kylie, please do so.)
- Leah - Leah is another friend of CyberBob's from his time at university. When CyberBob first moved on-campus at university, to live, he moved into a unit that contained Leah. Over his time on-campus, CyberBob and Leah became very good friends, and had many deep and meaningful conversations. She was also often a part of some of the shenanigans that CyberBob and Joel got up to.
- David & Catherine - David and Catherine are two of CyberBob's friends from university, but from some familiar subjects, instead of from living arrangements. CyberBob owes a great deal to David & Catherine, for some of the talks he has had with them, and for letting him stay with them when he went to the Livid Music festival in Brisbane in 1998.
- Cathy - Another of CyberBob's friends from university. Cathy is the person responsible for breaking CyberBob out of his shell, and getting him interested in a social life. Before meeting Cathy, CyberBob never used to do much at all. After meeting Cathy, CyberBob became a near social animal. CyberBob and Cathy have also spent many a time talking, and providing help to one another.
- Richmond - Richmond is a grouping of some of the good friends that CyberBob made, while living on campus at university. Richmond is the name of the student accomodation that CyberBob lived in, and some of the friends include Rales, Rachel, Geoff, Josh, Ian, Aruna, Nicole, Nicky, Sonny, Nathan, Shelley, Alison, Jens, Bettina, Boris, Sally, Louise, Jillian, Katie, Vicky, Sandra, Susan, Deana, Lisa, Stu, and many others that CyberBob cannot remember right now, but if he ever does, he will type them in.
- Leellen - Leellen is someone that CyberBob first met on the internet, where they struck up a friendship. Leellen also happened to be a friend of Pamla's, and slowly the friendship grew. These days, the friendship is in person.
- Amanda - Amanda is another friend of CyberBob's that he initially met on the internet, turned out to be a friend of Pamla's, and eventually became a friend in real life. Both Amanda and Leellen have helped CyberBob and Pamla out in a few situations, and often the four of them will go out somewhere to have some fun.
- Coles - Coles is a supermarket chain in Australia, and one that CyberBob worked at for a little over a year. During that year, CyberBob worked both in a Sydney supermarket, and in an Adelaide supermarket. Some of his friends from Sydney include Matthew, David R, David K, Mark, Juliette, Alex, and several others. Some of CyberBob's friends from the Adelaide store include Danielle, Adrian, Sarah, Chauntelle, Big Black fella (you know who you are Jamie), Mark W, Mark Y, Jacinta, Celeste, Mary, Fiona, and several others.
- Cheryl - No list of CyberBob's real life friends would be complete without mentioning Cheryl. Cheryl happens to be one of CyberBob's very good friends from his high school years. CyberBob used to be a very shy person, but it was Cheryl who helped break CyberBob out of that mode, and start to get talkative. And one good thing about Cheryl was that if you sneezed, no matter where she was in the room, she would say Bless You.
