Games. What is involved, in the Games Place? This is where CyberBob is listing all of his favourite computer, and board, games...reasons why he likes them, things he has done with them, and who knows what else he will write.

Computer Games

ARL 96 - ARL 96 is a game based on the wonderful sport of rugby league. CyberBob had heard of the game, but had never had a chance to play it. Then, one day, he spotted ARL 96 in the bargain bin at a department store. He bought it, and now he plays it at least once a week. CyberBob has fun being one of his favourite teams, The Canterbury Bulldogs, and beating everyone else to win the Optus Cup.

Simcity 2000/Simcity 3000 - When CyberBob got his old 386 DX computer, he wanted some games to put on there. A friend of his had a near new copy of Simcity 2000, which CyberBob then proceeded to install. For a good couple of years, while he was at university, CyerBob played Simcity 2000 endlessly. When he got his new computer, CyberBob had heard that a newer version had come out, Simcity 3000. He got a friend to copy the game for him, and loves playing this one as well.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe - Transport Tycoon is a game similar in some ways to Simcity 2000/3000. In Simcity 2000/3000, you control a city, where you place roads, rail, shipping, airports, and zoning for a city. In Transport Tycoon Deluxe, you control the transportation side of things...the forms of transport, how many, to where, by how...and between which cities. You control whether grain and livestock go to this factory or that factory. You control whether the goods from the oil refinery go to this town or that town. And you also have competitors, making the game even more interesting.

Virtual Springfield - Virtual Springfield is a game based on the town of Springfield, setting for everyone's favourite yellow skinned family, The Simpsons. CyberBob loves The Simpsons, and one day, when looking for a new computer game to buy, he stumbled across this one totally by accident. He bought it, and has had plenty of fun poking around the house of The Simpsons, playing games in the video arcade, looking at merchandise in the Kwik-e-mart, or starting fires at the Nuclear Power Plant>

Other computer games - Some other computer games that CyberBob enjoys playing include Railroad Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon 2, various wrestling related Nintendo 64 games, Football Manager 98, Battle Of The Sexes, Age Of Empires 2, Train Dispatcher 3, and Quake 2.

Board Games

I could not be bothered talking about all of the board games I like, so I am just going to list them. If I feel up to it some time in the future, I may expand on them.

Monopoly, Scrabble, triominos, Dominoes, Chess, Game Of Life, Guess Who, Connect Four, Scattegories, Pictionary, Cluedo, Operation, and many others.
